Advice
If you are considering making a claim for personal injury, you should report the accident to the person responsible for it, or to the police if appropriate, as soon as possible.
It is often helpful to take photographs of the accident scene, if possible.
If you are intending to claim compensation for expenses such as prescription costs and travelling expenses, remember to keep receipts as evidence.
It often becomes more difficult to provide an accurate account of how the accident happened as memories fade with the passage of time. Therefore you may find it easier to report your injury to a personal injury solicitor soon after the accident has happened. At Accident Advice Solicitors we will be happy to provide you with our opinion of your chances of successfully making a claim for compensation, without any pressure for you to go ahead with the claim - the decision entirely is yours.
We are always happy to offer help and advice where possible and you can complete our claim information form, or telephone us on 0844 846 0499 for advice.
